Performance Review

The performance that i went to was dancing on the streets and was held at the alexander theatre on the 24th of september 2009. the first thing that i would like to talk about is the set design. the set design was very well planned out with large images of singers and motown buildings, to give you the feel of being in the townthat was the thing in the 1970's. It included singfers like stevie wonder all the way to the supremes and shan richie. All the actors captured the stars in every single way from the costumes to the performance, they shone like the stars themselves. The costumes were of bright colours and represented the motown er. they also helped reflected the mood of the songs, which included a live band with all sorts of instruments like saxaphones and pianos. there were also a lot of special effects such as the smoke machine which helped the mood and style. the divas were acting all sultry and fragile for the men singers to add to the performance. I thought the performance was very effective in the way that it represented it very well. Id give it a rating of 8/10 purely because
