Report on creative media arts

My structured report on Creative media arts:-

Creative and media arts are to do with arts involving many different types of media. They include animation arts, computer arts and paper arts. The west midlands are made up of arts and science festivals which attract a lot of people including people from all over the UK. The art scene in the west midlands is vibrant and colourful and has had a lot of great reviews. The media arts scene in Birmingham is made up of voluntary organisation as well as public and commercial events. The voluntary sector includes companies doing things associated with media arts for free.

Commercial organisation such as the Birmingham arts fest also makes up the creative media scene. They make up Birmingham as a cultural society in arts. One such organisation is the Birmingham Robin hippodrome; it is one of the largest theatres in the UK seating over 1,900 people. It produces some of the best performances in the country. One such famous one is Hood in 2009. It attracted people from all over; it also performs many other types of performing arts such as dance, music and other arts. They market their performances all over and this is what attracts a wide arrange of audiences. But depending on the performance. For example and opera performance may attract a niche market for people who like opera. An example of a commercial organisation is the think tank. It is a life sized aquarium where visitors can embrace water creatures all round them. The tank immerses visitors into an underwater world by means of a gigantic tank. It also includes a science museum and also workshops filled with activities. Over the years it has attracted people all over the world and has become really popular.

A public organisation I would also like to analyse is the Eid mela festival at small heath park. The main event includes traditional foods and rides as well as a having a great day out for the family. It attracts the multicultural society of Birmingham and also Coventry. People of different religions and ethnic groups come to join in the celebration and celebrate a very colourful event.
The lighthouse is a festival which showcases a variety of arts such as music, film, dance, comedy and also literature. It is aimed at families but more importantly children. It has functions for all the family and includes watching movies and learning all about the creative market.

NEW! ECO FREINDLY SCHOOL CAMPAIGN

This week, we have started a brand new campaign on turning our school 'Holy Trinity catholic media arts college into an eco freindly school. We have already planned a lot of ideas from a video to designing and creating a poster to show the many different ways in which we can save energy. Not only that but money aswell. We are using a new type of planner which is called a minutes to campaign meeting planner. this in truth will enable us to keep a record of the diffrent types of role we have and to keep on track. It also shows the points we have discussed and who will do each job.

(The posts that follow will relate to the ECO campaign.)
